Class of 2017 student Matthew Downey contributed to the APTA Student Assembly monthly pulse blog. He penned an article about his experience being involved with the APTA and CPTA, along with his experience (and tips for) getting other students involved. Downey currently serves as the APTA Student Assembly Core Ambassador for California, Secretary/Community Service Committee Chair/Nominating Committee Chair for the California Student Special Interest Group, and has served on multiple state and national committees during his time in the DPT program at CSULB.
