The 1st Annual Peggy Moyer Memorial 5K Run/Walk

Today the PT Student Association, the PT Department, as well as alumni, family, and friends came together to honor and remember Peggy Moyer. Peggy taught anatomy for the PT department for 31 years before passing away this summer from non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

This event brought together so many to help memorialize Peggy by raising money for an endowment to name the newly planned anatomy lab the "Peggy Moyer Anatomy Lab."

It was truly humbling to see so much support for Peggy and to see so many lives she touched - be it students, faculty, families, and even patients.

Thank you to every person, organization, and entity that helped today come together! We will forever remember the impact Peggy had on us as students as we remember her anatomy flashcards, Mr. Thrifty, and her love of the sartorius muscle.
