3rd Annual Pre-PT Info Workshop

On Thursday, November 3 the class of 2019 hosted the 3rd Annual Pre-PT Info Workshop for undergraduate students from CSULB and other local colleges and universities.
The class of 2019 officers took charge of planning out the workshop as well as PRing the workshop to undergraduate students. The result was a third straight year of over 40 pre-PT students not only learning more about how to get into PT school, but more about why we love the CSULB DPT program so much!
Dr. Jeff Rodrigues, the graduate student advisor, started the evening with a presentation on how to get into physical therapy school, specifically geared towards the CSULB program. After, the students split up into smaller groups to interact and have more specific questions answered by the PT students who volunteered there time at the workshop.
The pre-PT students left feeling inspired and ready to work hard to one day get to PT school! The students who volunteered left with an appreciation of the work they went through to get to PT school and a motivation to keep working hard to soon become licensed physical therapists!
