Michelle Wynne, Devan Stiles, and Ryan Gray represented the CSULB DPT program at National Student Conclave in Miami from October 27-29.

National Student Conclave is a national conference planned for students, by students, to provide opportunities for creating lifelong relationships and friendships and engaging in innovative topics related to physical therapy. It's truly a conference full of students with a passion for physical therapy and a passion to lead the new generation of physical therapists.

Devan stated that, "it was truly inspiring to see so many PT and PTA students brought together for the mere purpose of learning how to become better clinicians." She appreciated how the knowledge she gained at NSC directly relates to what she's been learning in the classroom, and can't wait to apply these during her next clinical.

NSC also seems to have an atmosphere different from most conferences. The energy at the educational sessions was contagious and Ryan commented that "all the students and presenters were extremely passionate about our profession...the enthusiasm and excitement were palpable." No pun intended of course.

All three students definitely recommend any physical therapy student to seriously consider attending NSC in the future. NSC provides students so many opportunities for learning and networking that will help prepare them to become better clinicians.

NSC 2017 will be in Portland, Oregon, meaning a much closer travel for CSULB DPT students.
