Prepping for the Peggy Moyer Memorial 5K

This Saturday is the 1st Annual Peggy Moyer Memorial 5K in honor of Margaret "Peggy" Moyer. She was the CSULB PT Department's long-time anatomy professor.

We are so excited to bring together the CSULB, Long Beach, and CSULB PT communities for this event this weekend and we hope that it sparks interest in supporting the PT Department's mission to name the anatomy lab the "Peggy Moyer Anatomy Lab." This will forever enshrine Peggy in the hearts of students who come through the PT program even though they won't have had the blessing of getting to meet Peggy.

As the 5K comes closer we want to thank everyone who has been supportive of the event, and we'd like to recognize the Daily 49er, Inside CSULB, DIG Magazine, and the Long Beach Gazettes for helping us reach out to our community about the event.
