Summer Games 2016 @ CSULB!

Today marked the return of the Southern California Special Olympics to CSULB for their annual Summer Games!
CSULB DPT students participate in the FUNFitness athlete screening with students from several other DPT programs. Students led athletes in tests for muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility.
It was a great day to not only practice clinical skills, but to enjoy a wonderful experience with these wonderful athletes. Many students had the chance to build personal relationships with the athletes while they challenged to perform their best on the tests. They got the chance to meet athletes from all over southern California.
We hope to see many CSULB DPT students return to Summer Games when it comes to CSULB again next summer!
