Thank you to everyone who came out to the PTSA's collaboration with SoCal Trykers.
SoCal Trykers is a local organization made up of physical therapists and community members who perform adaptive bike builds and evaluations for local children. These bikes give these children the independence to ride around outside.

Dr. Noel Spina, who heads the pediatrics curriculum, has been instrumental in bringing together SoCal Trykers and the PTSA. This event brought together students from all three classes, CSULB PT alumni, and community members for an afternoon dedicated to fitting children to adaptive bikes. Some of the children even got to take home bikes.
It was so powerful to watch as so many of the children, some who had never been on a bike before, ride around the HSD quad. Their parents shared in their enthusiasm at the sight of seeing their children ride around.
We are definitely looking forward to future events working with SoCal Trykers, and can't wait to see some of the children riding their own bikes in the near-future!
